Two suspects use rock to gain entry

ON Wednesday, 22 July at midnight there was a burglary on Kundalila Road, Waterfall.

Resident of main house James Joyce, heard his electric fence buzzer go off and Secure Link was dispatched. The tenant from the cottage was watching TV when he saw movement by the window. Two suspects threw a big rock through the window and he managed to get up before it hit him.
He went to fetch a speaker stand to use for self defence when a second rock came crashing through the glass door. The tenant sustained a cut to his hand but fortunately no serious injuries.

The security company arrived and the suspects fled. No arrests were made and a case has been opened.
