GRADE 10 pupil, Muvhusi Mmbara, is Hillcrest High’s latest debating star.
After seven years of home schooling, she joined the school last year. Muvhusi joined the debating group and has worked exceptionally hard with her teammates, Christian Rees and Andile Mthembu. The team will represent the league in the Durban coastal debating quarter finals.
Muvhusi has received four best speaker roles this season and the adjudicators commended her on her command of the English language. Head of debating, Maddy Burger, said she was exceptionally proud of Muvhusi and all the other dedicated debaters at the school.
