THE eThekwini Municipality has issued out a statement concerning all city bus commuters.
“We wish to caution all commuters utilising the municipality’s bus service – operated by private operator, Tansnat – of the interruption of the service in all areas due to a fuel shortage affecting the operator’s depots in the city,” said eThekwini communications head, Tozi Mthethwa.
“Commuters are urged to make alternative travel arrangements during this interruption. We are engaging with the operator to ensure that service is restored soon. The municipality wishes to apologise to all commuters for the inconvenience caused,” she said.
