Waterfall taxi crash leaves a dozen injured

This is the second critical crash to take place in Waterfall this week.

TWELVE people were injured in a taxi crash along Fisher Road in Waterfall on Wednesday night, 16 September. A report from the scene indicated that the vehicle was traveling down a steep hill when it veered off the road and crashed into an embankment.

According to Netcare 911, paramedics and the rescue unit arrived at the scene and found the crumpled remains of the vehicle wedged up on an embankment with the door lying next to the wreckage. The injured occupants were found on the side of the road.

After paramedics treated the wounded at the scene they transported them to various hospitals.
