Expecting mums and dads get tips for the big day
Parents get the ins and outs of what to expect during and after birth.
LIFE The Crompton Hospital hosted a Little Life Baby Workshop on Saturday, 19 September from 9am to noon.
The workshop provided an ideal opportunity for expectant mums and dads to enjoy an educational range of talks by specialists and experts in their respective fields on childbirth and pregnancy-related topics.
Prizes were won, there were displays, samples and a tour of the maternity unit.
“The birth is a very special bonding process: the mum and dad and relatives should allow them that special time,” said Sr Ronel Vorstman, midwife in the labour ward.
She also added that the hospital’s rooms grant the grandparents time with the little one with visiting hours that allow mum and baby to rest.
