Oldies enjoy day of adventure and fun

The Jeep Club South Africa, KZN chapter, in partnership with Meals on Wheels, treated elderly folk to a much-deserved adventure day at Killarney 4×4 Park in Shongweni.

Thirty residents from from three old-age homes were given an opportunity to go for an exciting 4×4 trail drive before enjoy lunch and live entertainment.

“Being old does not mean you are incapable, and with Jeep’s slogan being ‘Live without Limits’, we felt it was rather fitting to give the old people a chance to get out and have fun. Just because you are old, doesn’t mean you have to stop living,” said Miguel Da Silva, area director for KZN and Freestate Meals on Wheels.
