Wyebank NGO welcomes SASSA donation
Ndlovu said they wish to provide moral rehabilitation among all age groups and also help people who are affected by and infected with HIV/AIDS by providing support groups and home-based care.
INHLANGANO Yobumbano, a Wyebank NGO that assists young people to stay away from drugs, received a generous donation from the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA).
SASSA donated five chairs, a fan, two steel benches and two heaters.
Impumelelo Yobumbano was started by Sdudla Ndlovu with the sole purpose of getting the youth out of drugs through music, sports and other recreational activities.
Ndlovu said they wish to provide moral rehabilitation among all age groups and also help people who are affected by and infected with HIV/AIDS by providing support groups and home-based care.
Ndlovu said they are very grateful to SASSA for equipping them with office equipment.
“This furniture will really assist us, as we struggle when we hold meetings as we do not have furniture.”
She added that they currently use a house in Wyebank as a temporary premises, which they use as an office and accommodation for young girls.
