NPO hosts soccer tournament
The organisation's aim is to help disabled and underprivileged people
A NEW up-and-coming New Germany NPO, Siyabathanda Organisation, hosted a five-a-side soccer tournament at Solomon Mahlangu sports hall.
The tournament was incorporated with a Christmas party for 100 children in the area.
Lwando Mtolo, chairman of Siyabathanda, said the organisation had been running since August but had been officially been registered in November.
“The organisation operates in Clermont, New Germany and Wyebank. Our aim is to help disabled and underprivileged people,” he said.
The fun and friendly tournament included the U11, U13, U15, open and adults’ teams.
The winning team received medals and a trophy.
