MORE than R11 000 was raised for the Kloof and Highway SPCA at the Christmas lights display in Waterfall at the intersection of Stanley Road and Rock Road.
This amazing display is done in the spirit of giving back to the animals in the NPO’s care and to raise much-needed funds for the Kloof and Highway SPCA. “The Christmas light display has become so well-known throughout the Durban area, even planes flying overhead have spotted the Christmas lights from the air,” said Barbara Patrick, the manager at the Kloof and Highway SPCA.
A cheque for R11 192 was handed over to Barbara recently. She thanked Janina and Malcom Atkinson for their ongoing support.
This donation of funds follows on from the amazing collection of food that was also donated to the SPCA by members of the public who viewed the Waterfall Christmas lights. “Thank you to our amazing community for your support of our SPCA and the work that we do,” said Barbara.
