Enjoy an afternoon outdoors with conservancy

Tickets are now available for the Everton Conservancy's annual Garden Party event.

THE Everton Conservancy will host its garden party on Sunday, 15 May, from noon at Everton Park, 5 Forest View Drive.

For an afternoon of fun and relaxation for the whole family, take along your tables and chairs or a blanket and enjoy the outdoors with the Everton Conservancy. Entrance is R180 per adult and R60 for children 12 years old and under.

The adult’s menu is soup and rolls followed by three types of organic meat that will be cooked on a spit braai, served with baby potatoes and a variety of salads. This will be followed by ice-cream and home-made chocolate sauce. Vegetarians will be catered for. For the children there will be freshly made burgers on a crisp roll.

Beer, wine and fruit juice will be available for purchase as well a special coffees from Truly Grounded. There will be a professional DJ to provide entertainment and guests may take a few lessons on how to do hip-hop or salsa with the local dance studio that will also be in attendance. You can also sit back and relax and opt for a foot or head massage.

The Menagerie will also be at the party to entertain the children. They will take along snakes, a barn own, a spotted eagle as well as a range of other weird and wonderful creatures. Children will also have the opportunity to make smors or stokbrood.
