
A 42-year-old was arrested for house breaking in homestead avenue in Hillcrest on Thursday, 27 May. The man was found on scene after the alarm went off in the house.
“The man was wanted for number of house breaking cases in the area. Police proceeded to his house in KwaNyuswa, where they recovered three watches with a value of R100 000,” said Hillcrest SAPS communications officer, Cst Ndumiso Manqele.
Manqele said the the man will be linked to other cases which occurred in the Hillcrest area. “We believe that the arrest of this man will decrease house-breaking cases in the area,” added Manqele.
