Picture purr-fect cats on show
If you're a cat enthusiast, visit Hillcrest High School this weekend for a double dose of cat shows
THE Provincial Cat Society will host two shows this weekend at Hillcrest Primary School, 17 Emoyeni Drive, Hillcrest. The first show is on Saturday, 18 June from 9am to 3pm, and the second show is on Sunday, 19 June from 9am until noon.
There will be cats from the most popular breeds on show, from Burmese, Persian and Maine coon to Siamese, orientals and Russians. Kittens to breeding animals will be on show and visitors will have the opportunity to interact with breeders and rescue centres. There will also be a fundraiser for Feeding the Furballs running throughout the show. Entry fees are R20 for adults and R10 for children and pensioners. Food and drinks will be on sale at the venue.
