GALLERY: Blooming beautiful orchids on show
Floral fundis gathered for the annual orchid show hosted by the Queensburgh Orchid Club.
THE Kloof Town Hall was filled to the brim with a variety of beautiful orchids that were on show and for sale at the weekend.
The annual show is hosted by the Queensburgh Orchid Club as a way to display the gorgeous plants grown by its members. “The event is always hosted at this time of year and, I don’t mean to brag, but we definitely have one of the best displays,” chuckled Tony Stansell, the vice president of the Queensburgh Orchid Club.
“We are very grateful for the support that we get from the public as this is also a small fundraiser for the club.”
The group meets on the third Wednesday of every month at the Pinetown Methodist Church from 7pm.
