VIEW: Lovestruck man organises flashmob proposal in Kloof

Love was in the air in Kloof tonight.

WHAT started with a Facebook page only two days ago, ended up with a truly happy couple after a surprise flashmob proposal at La Pizza Pazza in Kloof earlier tonight.

The hopeless romantic, Llume Geel, started an anonymous Facebook page that quickly went viral two days ago. A large banner was then seen hanging by M13 commuters with the big question, “will you marry me?”.

He later invited users to be a part of his special evening and go along and watch. He calmed the curious minds of the social network users that his girlfriend, Louise Mitchell, did not have Facebook and was completely unaware of his plans.

Rose petals were scattered up the stairs to the restaurant, a professional photographer from Capture It Photography was on hand, the main floor was brimming with excitement as Llume was due to pop the question at any moment. He later updated the Facebook page with a simple “She said YES”.

The couple met nine years ago and said that they hit it off from the beginning. “I knew that she was the one from the very first day I laid my eyes on her,” said a beaming Llume.

Trevor, the owner of La Pizza Pazza said, “What an awesome occasion. Thank you to everyone who put this together. We wish Llume and Louise many years of happiness together.”
