Donate a pair of shoes for Amaoti children

The shoes will distributed among 1000 children.

THE Robin Hood Foundation has been appealing to the public to donate their good condition, preloved shoes in support of their Choose Your Shoes campaign since 1 September.

The shoes will be donated in the Amaoti community on Saturday, 5 November.

“A large team of volunteers will visit 1000 children and let each child choose for themselves a pair of casual shoes as well as go home with a brand new pair of school shoes.

“Due to the incredible community support, this is turning into quite an event. Local celebrities and entertainers, Lloyd Paul and Holly Wasserfall performing live on the morning,” said Kim Griffith-Jones, co-ordinator of the Robin Hood Foundation.

People who would like to get involved in the campaign can email robinhoodfund@telkomsa.net or drop off new or preloved shoes of any size before Friday, 28 October at any of their drop off points.
