Driver crashes into cyclist on M13

A CYCLIST was seriously injured when a driver allegedly lost control of his car and crashed into him on the M13, at Dawncliffe offramp just after 3.45 pm on Friday, 28 October.

Rescue Care paramedics found that a bakkie had overturned and rolled several times knocking into a cyclist. “The cyclist sustained serious injuries and Rescue Care Advanced Life Support paramedics worked to stabilise the man on the scene before transporting him to a nearby hospital. The bakkie driver was also injured and was transported to a nearby hospital,” explained operations director, Garrith Jamieson.
