THE Kloof and Highway SPCA invites its supporters and members of the Highway community to attend its monthly Golden Paws meeting on Thursday, 24 November from 9.30am to 11.30am.
The monthly meetings are hosted on the last Thursday of every month at the local NPO. “These meetings are a way to keep members of the public informed and updated with monthly feedback from the Kloof and Highway SPCA, including inspectorate activities, monthly events, animal stories and other interesting news,” said Lisa Mörck, the PR and outreach officer.
The guest speaker this month is Lara Mallory, the kennel manager at the Kloof and Highway SPCA and Brigitte Ferguson, an adoption officer at the organisation. “These two dedicated women will share what they do on a daily basis in the kennels and cattery as well as the kennel staff who perform various functions.
