Temporary deviation in Pinetown this weekend

Work will begin at 7am on Saturday, 3 December and will end at 5pm on Sunday, 4 December.

COMMUTERS, residents and businesses in the Pinetown CBD are advised that there will be a temporary deviation at the St John’s and Josiah Gumede intersection to allow for asphalting of the roads, this weekend.

Work in this area will begin at 7am on Saturday, 3 December and will end at 5pm on Sunday, 4 December.

Motorists will have access to the M13 via various detour routes at all times during the closure period, and access will be given to any customers who wish to get to the various businesses along the closed off section of road during this time.

Motorists are requested to use the alternative routes on the affected days to avoid delays.

The eThekwini Transport Authority requests for your patience and understanding as final touches are made to the various roads for its GO!Durban dedicated bus lanes.

Contact 073 293 5144 (business hours) and for information on GO!Durban visit www.godurban.co.za.

Sanelisiwe Tsinde

My name is Sanelisiwe Tsinde, and I'm a mother of two boys and very family-oriented. Being a community journalist for years, I can proudly say I love writing about positive community news articles and giving a voice to the voiceless. Seeing people getting assistance warms my heart. Every day is a different challenge and a new learning opportunity. I supply news for our trusted publication weekly, and a few years ago, Caxton ventured into online publication, so I contribute daily to the websites. I could say I am a multimedia journalist, and working in a community newspaper is beneficial as we do not focus on one thing but we do a bit of everything.
