Twelve injured in N2 south crash, near Westwood Mall
More ambulances were dispatched to assist with the number of injuries.
TWELVE people were injured when three vehicles collided on the N2 South near Westwood Mall this morning, just before 7am.
Garrith Jamieson, operations director for Rescue Care said paramedics found three vehicles collided in a rear-end format in the fast lane.
“One of the vehicles was transporting workers in the back. More ambulances were dispatched to assist with the number of injuries. Once stabilised on scene, all the injured were transported to various Durban hospitals,” said Jamieson.
Events leading up to the collision are unknown at present, however SAPS will be investigating.
