‘SCIENCE is fun’ is the message Kloof Junior Primary School is giving its learners.
As a school subject, science is vital to the academic success of learners and the local school is forging ahead to encourage its learners to embrace the subject.
As a special treat, the Fun Science Secret Lab hosted a science show for the children. They had fun revealing an invisible message, experimenting with colourful foaming toothpaste and also made a special drink that changes colour.
Learners enjoyed making misty showers and flying in the clouds and many other exciting activities that kept them enthralled as they learnt about chemical reactions, ph balances and state of matter.
The facilitators of the event, Kateryna Koshkidko and Lwazi Pinyana, explained how important it was for learners to be introduced to science as a fun and interesting subject by actively involving them in the experimental process and making it exciting and magical to inspire their imagination.
Fun Science Secret Lab offers different programmes for schools and their birthday party shows are by now renowned.
