Country fresh dog walk and fun day

Show off your beloved dogs in aid of local environmental groups.

THE Rotary Club of Kloof has banded together with Keep Hillcrest Beautiful, Keep Kloof Beautiful and five highway conservancies to have fun and raise awareness of environmental issues at the same time.

The day will feature a 5km or 2km dog walk and an opportunity to win spot prizes.

People who do not have dogs can also go and enjoy a fun day.

Also featured will be an environmental display, a school art competition, a dog ability display, food stalls and a beer garden.

The focus is on an opportunity for the public to show off their beloved dogs in aid of local environmental groups.

The event will take place in the beautiful surrounds of Summerveld on Sunday, 21 May from 10am to 4pm.

The entrance fee is R50 per car.

Bring your picnic blankets or folding chairs and share a day with your family and friends in the fresh county air and enjoy some exercise while you are there.
