ARYAN Sewsunker, a Grade 7 learner from Winston Park Primary, is one of the top achievers in Round 2 of the International Mathematics Assessments. He has been invited to be a member of the Durban team competing in the 2017 International Mathematics Contest in Lucknow, India.
The competition takes place in July 2017 and they will compete with teams from around the world, including Japan, China, USA, Canada and Malaysia.
Aryan has always been interested in mathematics from an early age and enjoys the challenges that the International Mathematics assessments present.
Besides being a brilliant mathematician, Aryan is a keen and talented sportsman. He loves playing cricket, soccer, tennis and hockey.
“We are extremely proud of his achievement,” said Gina Layzell, business manager at the school.
