Lylen programs his future goals

Lylen Naik was chosen as Pitlochry Primary School's SPAR star of the Month.

PITLOCHRY Primary School has chosen Grade 7 learner, Lylen Naik as its SPAR Star of the Month.

Lylen has been selected as a monitor. At the beginning of the year he wrote in an assignment that his dreams were to become a soccer player, and to be an IT programmer.

As a midfielder in the U13A soccer team, he is already working on that part of his dream.

In March this year, Pitlochry entered all its learners in the SA Computer Olympiad’s nationwide Talent Search competition.

Lylen achieved a gold certificate and the highest mark in the school.

Lylen said that maths is his favourite subject, so, together with his achievement in the Computer Olympiad, it looks as if he is on the right path to achieve his second dream of working in IT one day.
