Put your paws up for Golden Society
Become a member of the Kloof and Highway SPCA's Golden Paw Society and become a part of the local NPO.
THE Kloof and Highway SPCA invites residents to its monthly Golden Paw Society meeting on Thursday, 29 June from 9.30am to 11.30am at Marilyn’s Tea Garden.
The topic for the morning is humane food production and food choices with guest speaker Felicity Vonmoos of Sunshine Farm. She will talk about humane egg production and why she has chosen free range farming and what the day to day care of the chickens entails. The SPCA will also give feedback on its latest news and stories for the past month.
Tea, coffee and refreshments will be available. RSVP for catering purposes.
There is no entry fee however a donation is welcome. You can either donate cash, your unwanted items for its charity shops, dog and cat food, treats or toys or you can sign up as a volunteer to help in the charity shops.
“We extend an open invitation to our community who care about animal welfare and who would like to become a part of our SPCA family to make a difference. Our SPCA is only as strong as the support we receive from our community,” said Lisa Mörck.
