Support Highway Hospice bake and plant initiatives for Mandela Day

The Hospice will host a mini fete on Mandela Day and everyone is invited to support them.

HIGHWAY Hospice is gearing up for Mandela Day and is asking bakers to spend their 67 minutes making biscuits for resale on Tuesday, 18 at the Sherwood Hospice.

People can bake biscuits and put them into jars but can also take them in bulk.

Highway Hospice event organiser, Heather Partner, said people are dropping off pot plants and there are some really good plants for sale.

The mini fete will starts at 9am on Tuesday, 18 July and donations of biscuits or pot plants can be dropped off at at Highway hospice, 59 Locksley Drive Sherwood or at the Hospice shop at 5 Butts Road in Pinetown during working hours.
