Elderly man stabbed in Malvern home invasion

The local SAPS were at the scene and will be investigating the incident.

A MAN, believed to be in his 60s, was seriously injured during a home invasion in Malvern on last night.

Rescue Care’s paramedics were called to a home in Kate Hartnoll Road at about 9pm. The man was stabbed four times and was found lying on the floor in his home. Garrith Jamieson, the operations director for Rescue Care, said the man was in a serious condition but was stabilised at the scene and then taken to a nearby hospital.
