THE SPAR Star of the Month for St Mary’s DSG is Grade 8 learner, Aimee Harding. She represented South Africa at the recent World Youth Cup in Croatia during the July holidays.
Aimee is number one in SA in the sport of karate for both Kata and Kumite in the girls 14 and 15 age group. She was the only KZN girl in her age group to go overseas. In Croatia, she attended a three-day training camp and then competed in the tournament which was held over another three days.
Aimee loved the tournament and was delighted to have gained such invaluable exposure and experience at an international level.
