Terrific treats for Highway women

Each female customer at the Main SPAR in Pinetown received a gorgeous rose and a chocolate in celebration of Women's Day.

IN celebration of Women’s Day, the Main group of SPARs paid tribute to the women in the Highway community as well as mom and daughter duo, Barbara Laubscher and Courtney Masterton who are the driving force behind the Social Cause Charity.

The organisation supports four charities in the local community: The Jess Foord Foundation, Bobbi Bear, the Kloof and Highway SPCA and Baby Hope House.

The Social Cause Charity Shop can be found at Paradise Junction in Pinetown.

It relies on donations of assorted clothes, toys, shoes, puzzles, games, linen and other assorted unwanted household items.

All donated items are sold to assist the non-profit organisations.

The duo were presented with a bunch of flowers to thank them for their brilliant work.

The Main SPAR at Sandy Centre treated each of its female customers to chocolates and single roses.
