The Highway German Shepherd Dog Club has been an integral part of the lives of hundreds of KwaZulu-Natal residents over the past 22 years – filling countless weekends with the memories of meeting like-minded people of all ages, and offering Durban a very special, peaceful venue in which to train and enjoy their beloved German Shepherd dogs.
It was founded at Summerveld in 1995, with a small clubhouse erected on the grounds owned by Gold Circle.
The setting is fantastic, with fabulously expensive racehorses thundering past the open, picturesque training fields.
Fortunate to be sponsored by Hill’s, the Club is affiliated to the German Shepherd Dog Federation of SA and offers both breed and sport facilities.
