Connie and Rod Jarman celebrated their 50th anniversary on Saturday, 7 October.
A KLOOF couple who has made a name for themselves internationally as dog show judges, Connie and Rod Jarman, celebrated their 50th anniversary on Saturday, 7 October.
Rod and Connie got married in Port Elizabeth in 1967 after dating for four years.
The couple met at a restaurant where Connie was working part time as a waitress.
“I was working as a sales representative and had just moved from Pretoria and I fell in love with Connie and asked her out on that day,” said Rod.

The couple moved to the Highway area in November 1978, and bought a dog boarding kennel on Field’s Hill.
In 1981 they sold the boarding kennel and moved to Kloof.
