TWO properties, No 18 A and B on Sander Road, New Germany have been unoccupied for several years yet there has been a security guard sitting there for all that time.
Several questions arise.
Who do the buildings belong to? Why are the houses not sold or rented out?
Who is paying the security company for this extensive period of guarding? Why are the gardens in such a neglected and disgusting state?
I request the ward councillor furnish us some answers, as no-one else seems to know.
If it is the ratepayers who are footing the bill, I think we should be told so we can put a stop to it.
