CROWDS of people gathered at the Kloof Rotary Ann’s 25th Open Gardens on the weekend of 14 to 15 October.
There were five stunning gardens on show this year.
The gardens ranged from large to complex size.
Four of the gardens were designed and maintained by the owners.
This year, the tea garden was based at the Fulton School for the Deaf.
The Kloof Rotary Anns thanked their sponsors and the general public for supporting their event.
The weekend was a great success and it was blessed with good weather.
The organisers raised R51 000 for local charities.
Charities which were nominated by the garden owners were Robin Hood Foundation, Fulton School for the Deaf, St Vincent de Paul for work in the Molweni Valley, Natal Settlers and MS Society.
Winners of the raffle were Aurora Howard (bought in the name of her grand daughter Kyra Ashley), Angie Steyn and Jehanne Blades.
