Pinetown Boys’ Sitholile takes one step at a time to uplift his community

Sitholile Sithole, Pinetown Boys' SPAR Star of the Month.

SITHOLILE Sithole, Pinetown Boys’ SPAR Star of the Month has played an important role in the school’s Interact Club.

As a former deputy- president, he served the club with distinction with his quest to uplift the local community. He has participated in the Dare to Dream campaign, given presentations to the Open Door Crisis Centre, helped stage a programme on Mandela Day, was a counsellor at a kids’ camp and assisted in the Reservoir Hills Relay for Life.

He cares deeply about the well being of the school and has excelled both academically and on the sports field, leading by example.

He has received the Phi Beta Kapa award for academics and participated in the Toastmasters Leadership Course as well as other leadership courses over the years. He was also a participant of the grade 11 Business Studies market and organised to teach the learners about building businesses by providing food and drinks to the entire school.

He is currently involved in a programme to celebrate Human Rights Day in collaboration with several schools as well as the Rotary Club of Pinetown.

He was elected as deputy head boy at the school and presents himself as an excellent role model. What marks this young gentleman from others is his determination to make the world a better place and he is willing to give of his time to assist in changing the world one step at a time.
