Aaditya pens inspiring poem

He started writing his own novel about a boy who enters a magical land.

AADITYA Ramsunder is Pitlochry Primary School’s SPAR Star the Month.

Aaditya is a bookworm, who loves science fiction and fantasy novels, as well as non-fiction.

He excels in academics, especially creative writing.

He started writing his own novel about a boy who enters a magical land.

After a workshop presented to the school on creative poetry writing, which coincided with Water Week, Aaditya’s class was challenged to write a poem about an aspect of water, using the tips and techniques they had learnt at the workshop.

Within half an hour, he had written this advice for his fellow classmates:

Litter by Aaditya Ramsunder

At the cost of all the oceans
Litter you may find
Paper, trash and plastic
Slurping all around

NOW LISTEN HERE!
It is horrible to see
All the litter in the ocean
It’s because of YOU AND ME!

Now here’s some tips to stop this
So listen and pay attention
Soon my problem would be beyond redemption

Don’t throw your trash, onto the ground, not in the river either
Put it in a bin, a bin and only a bin!

So I really hope
You have paid attention
Cause if it happens one more time
You’ll find yourself in detention.
