Athlete Andile leaps to success

Kloof High School's SPAR Star of the Month - April 2018.

ANDILE Ndlovu, a Grade 10 learner at Kloof High School is its SPAR Star of the Month.

Andile is a quiet young man who enjoys participating in athletics and this can be seen in his excellent results from various KZN competitions this year.

He has represented the school at the KZN A Middle Distance League Incorp – Jumps and Relays at Kings Park, came first in the final men’s mixed long jump and ran with the U22s in the final men mixed 2x100m relay. His team took second place.

Andile claimed first place in the final boys’ U17 long jump at the Puma School of Speed Competition, was selected for the Pinetown and Districts team and participated in the KZN Provincial Championships, taking second place in the final boys’ U17 long jump.

He was awarded a silver for the U17 100m sprint and came fourth in the U17 200m sprint.

The dedicated athlete was also selected to go to Potchefstroom in the Easter holidays.

“We are very proud of Andile and his achievements and wish him well in his future competitions,” said the school’s marketing officer, Janet Brody.
