Centenarian Willie Rees dies at 106

He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, in Winston Park on 10 May.

INTREPID Willie (Bill) Rees reached the prime old age of 106 last year. However, the centenarian from Winston Park passed away last week.

She said he was a true legend who lived an incredibly interesting life that was well spent.His daughter Liz Pavan, said: “It is with deep sadness we salute and say a fond farewell to Mr Willie Rees, 106, who passed away peacefully at home in Winston Park on 10 May. He was surrounded by family.”

“He leaves a treasure trove of wonderful memories and a great influence on family and friends,” said Liz Pavan.
