Support grows for SPCA at fund-raiser

Dozens of residents gathered at Makaranga Garden for a beautiful morning breakfast fund-raiser.

THE vivacious and dynamic Bryony Stephenson addressed the crowd at the School of Garden Design’s annual breakfast, which was in support of The Kloof and Highway SPCA.

The principal of The School of Garden Design, Lindsay Gray, said she was delighted that her school could assist the Kloof and Highway SPCA in a meaningful way by raising funds for their sterilisation programme.

Her personal association with this branch of the SPCA goes back many years, she added, and that it was heart-warming to see the absolute dedication and passion with which the team worked to better the lives of animals that have no voice.
