AN intelligence driven operation yielded excellent results when a 24-year-old suspect was arrested for attempted murder on Sunday, 7 October.
The man was arrested by Pinetown Crime Intelligence and Mpumalanga Crime Prevention members.

Pinetown Cluster communications officer, Capt Bongumusa Manqele, said it is alleged on Saturday, 6 October, a 34-year-old victim was shot twice by the suspect in the KwaMbiza area in Ntshongweni.
“The suspect was also arrested in Ntshongweni where he was hiding. He was found in possession of an unlicensed firearm and four rounds of ammunition. The motive for the shooting is suspected to be robbery,” said Manqele.
