MELANIE Fourie is a Grade 5 learner at Westville Senior Primary School and is its SPAR Star of the Month.
Her teachers describe her as an absolute star as she is extremely willing and helpful, and has impeccable manners.
She is a diligent learner who has a mature and pleasant nature. As a result, she copes well with responsibility and can be relied upon at all times.
She tackles all aspects of school life with great interest and enthusiasm.
Melanie’s favourite subject is natural science and she loves learning about animals (she has two pet dogs – Pippet and Milo). She also enjoys doing scientific experiments.
Her favourite sport is cricket. She is an all-rounder and is good at all aspects of the game, from batting to bowling and fielding.
At the age of 10 she made the U13 PADSSA girls cricket team in 2017.
Melanie’s happy, co-operative nature and lovely smile ensure that she has many friends and is well-liked by her teachers and peers alike.
