Eskom warns of possible stage 2 loadshedding
Stage 2 allows for up to 2000 MW of the national load to be shed. It is twice as severe as stage 1.
ACCORDING to Eskom there is a high probability of stage 2 rotational loadshedding from 9am until 10pm today as a result of the loss of additional units overnight.

Eskom said in a tweet that this would only be implemented if absolutely necessary, and is the alternative to a dangerous total blackout.

Eskom implemented stage 1 load shedding yesterday, 29 November.
Stage 2 allows for up to 2000 MW of the national load to be shed. It is twice as severe as stage 1.
