Talk inspires Highway’s athletes
The guest speaker for the evening was the talented Kirsten van Heerden.
DOZENS of learners and sports enthusiasts gathered for informative and empowering sports talks at St Mary’s DSG last week.
The guest speaker was clinical and sports psychologist, Dr Kirsten van Heerdeen. She is one of only a handful of people in South Africa to have both represented her country as an athlete and also hold a PhD in the area of sport psychology.

Also speaking at the event was dietician, Karen Bishop; St Mary’s Old Girl, Giorgia Hannan; biokineticist, Megan Steyn and physiotherapist, Lauren Smerdon.
