HIRSCH’S Hillcrest recently hosted the powerhouse businesswoman, founder and chairman of the Robin Hood Foundation and author, Cindy Norcott, for its June Women in Business networking morning.

Cindy drew a crowd of more than 70 women, who arrived hungry for insight into The Shameless Act Of Self Promotion.

“Become a shameless self-promoter. If you don’t believe in yourself and your business, why should you expect anyone else to? Portray your confidence and self-belief to others and always tell people about the one positive thing that has happened to you. Self confidence and arrogance are two separate things – don’t confuse the one with the other,” said Cindy.

Hirch’s Hillcrest’s public relations officer, Jonathan Brauteseth, said, “The Hirsch’s Women In Business networking mornings in Hillcrest are an essential part of ensuring that female entrepreneurs develop new relationships to grow and become successful.”

The Margaret Hirsch Women In Business finalist for the month of June was Desiree Maarschalk from the 1 000 Hills Chef School.
