Zanele is used to rising above the odds against her despite being partially deaf and not raised in a conventional home by both parents. She has an Electrical Engineering qualification and has worked in the corporate world for more than 20 years and achieved a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) among other qualifications. “This propelled me to open my business, Sparkle Image Consulting. As a certified Image Consultant, cutting and polishing all diamonds to reflect their light within, which I believe everyone has, is my passion.

“Through this skill I empower individuals to exude confidence, dignity and self-love and this opens them up to love others better, reach for their dreams and realise their purpose and destiny; hence my motto in life is let your light shine,” she said.

The top 25 finalists do fund-raising, networking and self-development until the final round of judging, to name the Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa 2019. The newly crowned Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa 2020 will become an ambassador for the organisation and its sponsors and represent South Africa internationally at Mrs World.
