Financial Manager: Highway Mail & Amanzimtoti Printing & Publishing

A New Germany based company, the Highway Mail (Pty) Ltd has a vacancy for a suitably qualified and experienced, deadline driven Financial Manager with strong administrative and computer skills.

The successful incumbent is to be accountable for the overall governance of all aspects of financial management and administration of multiple companies.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

The position involves, but is not limited to:

  • Exercising control over the company’s financial systems and finances
  • Debtors
  • Creditors
  • Bank reconciliations
  • General ledger
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Payroll and HR overview
  • Annual budgeting
  • Preparation and submission of statutory returns
  • Overseeing the annual external audit.

In addition the individual will be involved with numerous ad hoc exercises.

 

Requirements:

  • BCom in Accounting or Financial Management
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an accounting management role
  • Knowledge and understanding of the principles and components of finance

Reports to: Business Manager
