South African Police Services needs reservists
The applicants need to be energetic, intelligent, physical and mentally fit.

THE South African Police Service invites members of the community, who have a desire to serve their country on a voluntary basis, to apply to become reservists.

The applicants should meet the following requirements:
• Must be a South African resident.
• Must be aged between 20 and 50 years of age with documentary proof.
• Medically and physically fit.
• Must be of good and sound character and have no criminal record.
• Must be in possession of at least a senior certificate (matric) or a National Certificate (Vocational ) level 4 of which documentary proof must be provided.
• Must be able to speak, read and write at least two official languages including English.
• Must be prepared to undergo training as determined by the National Commissioner of the SAPS.
• Must be prepared to take the prescribed oath.
• Must apply to a police station close to the applicant’s place of residence and provide proof of residence.
