Highway stalwart will be missed

Waterfall College's principal, Jeanette van der Merwe said his memory will forever be cherished by staff and learners alike.

THE directors and staff of Waterfall College extend their deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Derek Christophers, who passed away on Saturday, 18 April.

Derek was a loyal supporter of our school, particularly during his granddaughter Michaela’s time with us, and served as chairman of the Waterfall College Governing Body from 2012 to 2015.

The Christophers family inspired many with their faith and dedication, exemplified by Derek’s contribution to the establishment and maintenance of our original sports field.

He cared deeply for the teachers and learners of Waterfall College and, in turn, was loved by them all.
May Derek Christophers rest in peace and may his family and friends be comforted and strengthened during this sad time.
