Create your own crown with Woza Moya

Two of Durban's top designers, Karen Monk Klijnstra and Maggie Rider, will host the fundraiser event.

WOZA Moya will host a fundraising fascinator and millinery workshop with two talented designers, Karen Monk Klijnstra and Maggie Rider, on Thursday, 27 August from 10.30am to 1.30pm.

Participants will be taught how to make their own fascinator or crown and, coupled with the fun-loving Maggie and Karen, laughter and fun is guaranteed.

This workshop will be held outside and social distancing protocols will be adhered to. Participants are encouraged to dress warmly. Should the temperature drop considerably, the event will be moved indoors.

“Bring a friend and enjoy creating with other creatives. We will have a beautiful array of beads and baubles to glue or sew and everything will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own bits and bobs,” said Woza Moya’s Paula Thomson.

The cost is R125 per person and this includes a coffee from the Ubuntu Ground Cafe. Spaces are limited and booking is essential. To save your spot, email wozamoya@hillaids.org.za.
