WESTVILLE police needs assistance locating the family of a black woman who was hit by a car while running across the M13 freeway, opposite Nelson Road on Friday, 25 September.

Westville SAPS communications officer, Capt Elizabeth Squires said the woman is approximately 28 years old and is light in complexion.

“She has short hair and a round face. She was wearing black jeans, mustard top, black beanie, pink socks and black sandals. She was taken to Addington Hospital where she passed away on Sunday, 27 September,” said Squires.

Anyone who has information regarding the deceased or the next of kin is urged to contact Det/Serg Mlambo on 031 267 735 or 072 032 6700.
