Elderly resident searches for owner of bird found in Pinetown

AN elderly woman from Chelsea Retirement Village in Pinetown is frantically searching for the owner of a ringneck that flew into her neighbour’s house on Sunday, 15 November.

Leticia Coetzee, who has been taking care of the bird for the past few days, said she is concerned the owners may be searching for their missing pet.
“The bird had been flying around the retirement village for days before flying through my neighbour’s window,” she said.
