Westville’s rescued bush babies bounce back
The duo, named Jim and Dwight, were found alone, starved and covered in fleas under a tree in a back yard in Westville in December.
THE Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) was ecstatic to report the bush baby brothers, that were rescued in Westville in early December last year, are in good health and will be moved to a larger enclosure soon.
The duo, named Jim and Dwight, were found alone, starved and covered in fleas under a tree in a back yard in Westville.
Since then they have grown and put on weight.

“After our initial post in December, we have received a whopping R8 000 in donations towards their care and a whole lot of carrot juice. We are in awe over the support and are thrilled to show you their progress. Progress that you are directly funding,” said CROW’s communications officer, Alex Kogl.
To support the care of the bush baby duo, an EFT donation can be made using the reference “bushbaby.”
